Trailer- Draft 1

This my first draft trailer, which I have created using IMovie. Now that all of my scenes are in place, I am able to make minor improvements, and detail improvement to my work, making it look more professional. After receiving feedback from my target audience, I realised that the end credits and text does not flow very well, and that the music towards the end drags a little.
In order to improve this I am going to:
  • Change the pace of music
  • edits scenes and shorten the trailer so that the music fits in well
  • Add a 'coming...' scene, with promotional features/ advertisement of the production
The audience feedback is in the comments of this blog post below.

  1. Your trailer is so good :) the only thing i would improve on is the end credits. The background image for the 'Think Twice' doesn't have any relevance and takes the eye away from the title which should be the most important. The end credit text moving is also a little bit distracting. The rest is amazing, the scenes you've chosen really create a lot of tension and suspense, and your choice of music/sound affects really adds.

  2. Really good trailer - Great shots and interesting plot, only thing I would work on is the audio when some of the people are talking by making sure the quality and the volume is all consistent - especially at 0:54 where the start of Beth's dialogue is slightly cut off, other than that I love it.

  3. Great trailer, I like the fact that the narrative is very clear and you'v used a large range of shots, and I really like the actors names that appear on screen whilst the trailer is progressing and I like how you showed object of significance through the ring. The only minor changes I could suggest is the end credit scene as the text isn't centralised in the middle of the scene but other than that it was a great trailer.
