Creating My Movie Poster

When creating my movie poster, I used Photoshop to edit my image, and as shown in the screenshots below, I experimented with several different image effects, to see which one fitted in best with the theme of psychological horror. 
I decided to use the effect of double exposure, as it fits in perfectly with the mysterious characters in the narrative. After researching previous psychological movie posters, I was most inspired by the 'Gone girl' poster which is why I have used. similar image with a effective background.
