Make-up For Trailer

Whilst planning the filming for my film trailer, the makeup used on the characters is very Important as it represents the characters in a certain way.
The main character which make up was essential to apply to, was the character of Spencer, who get beaten up and tortured in the attic.

I decided to use dark colours on the eyes to make Spencer eye look swollen and bruised. In order to get this kind of effect I used the colours, black and brown from the palettes shown below. Closer to the eye I used black to make the bruise look realistic, and then around the around, I faded the colours, to purples and browns, as seen in the screenshot below.

To create the effects on a bloody mouth, I used a bright red lipstick, and petroleum jelly to get a moist texture, make the the makeup look like real blood. This was a advantage, because the audience will become aware that Spencer is hurt, and the proof of the will be presented through the bruises and bloody mouth.
In order to mix the jelly and lipstick , I placed the lipstick onto the outside of my hand and then mixed the petroleum jelly on top, creating a textured paint type effect.

Magazine Masthead- legacy

Magazine Masthead: LEGACY

After receiving feedback on which magazine masthead is mostly preferred, the majority of audience voted Legacy, so before creating my magazine poster, I decided to gain some feedback on which specific font would look best to fit the name if the masthead.
I used social media to gain this feedback, as you can see. Here I have used snapchat to gain my audience feedback.
This is the document I created, and sent to my target audience.

The following screenshots show the audience feedback I received from my target audience.

The chart below shows the majority of votes each font style received.

The following feedback shows me that the most popular masthead font was number 3 which was this font shown below. This now helps when when creating my print products because the chosen masthead was popular by many votes.
I also prefer this masthead because it looks unique and the little effects if hits in between, emphasises the theme of horror for the magazine cover.
